I’m an American living in Stockholm, Sweden. Reading is one of my passions. I work as a copywriter for a cosmetics company. When I’m not working, you’ll find me hanging out at Tegnérs Gömstället, Kafé Sjöstugan or in my little home office working on my novel.
I write multicultural women’s fiction with romantic elements for women who know that love comes in many colors.

Dear Book Reviewer,
The new Author E.M.S. website (http://www.authorems.com) is launching a searchable Database of Online Book Reviewers (DOBR). We would love to include information about your reviews on this database.
Benefits to your site/blog:
- free added visibility and name recognition
- time saved by receiving relevant review requests instead of answering questions for dozens or hundreds of authors
Benefits to authors:
- the ability to search for blogs by genre, length, format and learn vital statistics and relevant contact information
- time saved by not researching all review blogs
We’d like to invite you to fill out a detailed survey so we can build an accurate profile of your site/blog. Once the database launches (ETA: Oct. 2011), we will contact you twice per year for updates or you may contact us anytime with new information and we’ll input it immediately.
If you’re interested in participating, please reply to this email by August 12, 2011 and we will send you the information to access the survey on our website. We also welcome any questions you may have.
Thanks for your support of authors, readers and great books!
Sincerely,
Amy Atwell

Choose Joy!!
So jealous of your living in Stockholm. It’s a really beautiful city.
It is a beautiful city. Dunno if I want to live here for the rest of my life but I like being here now.
Hi Kim,
Just wanted to let you know I nominated you for a Kreativ Blogger Award, if you want to accept it it’s here:

I really enjoy your site with all its book tips, notes on writing and now your path to publication.
Hi Kim,
Just saw you at Goodreads “Authors/Readers” discussion group. I’m fairly new to Goodreads as well as all things published. I see you write women’s fiction as well as review books. Would you consider reviewing an historical romance? My first published novel: Threads of Betrayal is set in the Civil War era. One of my “threads” is the Underground Railroad. It’s not central to my story, but plays an important part. Anyway, good luck with “The Melanie Chronicles.”
Thanks for stopping by, Monica! I just sent you an email!

Hi Kim,
I finally got (the hard copy of ) ‘The Melanie Chronicles’ and it’s on my summer reading list.
I’ve tagged you for the Be inspired! blog hop, so I can see what inspired you to write your short stories.

Hi Kim,
I’ve been following you for a while and bought your book from Kobo not long ago. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I have started a blog for my book. Check it out if you have a chance – thanks!
